Ability to correct an error

Our process is that someone will verify that the I-9 and E-Verify were completed correctly. It would be great if we could correct an error in E-Verify. For example, if a name is misspelled, the case will still close with resolve Authorized but once we realize the error, there is no way to attach the correct name to that case.

  1. Maybe. I was told by an E-Verify customer service rep the system takes errors into account. As long as we are not penalized for adding an extra "t' to the name Collete, and E-verify takes the misspelling into account, I would prefer not having another function on my e-verify screen.

    Since e-Verify is something that we all need to take seriously, if an error is made in ones name then we should be able to make a correction and set it right.
