Case Details should print on 1 page, not 2

After closing a case, the Case Details page that prints says "Page 1 of 1", but prints on 2 pages. Printing one extra page for each E-Verify case quickly increases printing costs. Please reorganize the Case Details page to print to a smaller area, or remove the blank information fields.

  1. The quick solution is to preview the page, and reduce the size of the page to 80%. A few extra keystrokes, but cheaper and space saving.

    1. This is what I have been doing as well, but it would be nice if we didn't have to do this.

    2. It now has to be 70%. Reducing the font makes it VERY hard to read. The best solution for all would be to rearrange the blank space. This would save thousands of pages. This was suggest over a year ago by several people including myself. Please make an improvement

  2. Yes, please modify the layout to remove fields that no data is input into.

  3. I've been printing mine double-sided, but if I didn't have the printer to do so, this would be very costly (especially considering the 2nd page only has a few details listed on it)

  4. I reduce to 78% and can still read it without a magnify glass, but I do admit that is a pain to take the extra steps when it could be fixed to eliminate the 2nd page!

  5. I just set my printer to print one page only.

  6. Don't print to paper. Print a PDF version and store it in any folder on your computer or network server. Use a file name that includes the name or SSN of the verified employee. Saves paper/ink/toner and makes it easy to retrieve the report instantly should you ever need it. Back-up the file along with your regular back-ups.

    1. Companies all have different procedures. We print then scan electronically. We do not have the capabilities to go directly to the electronic software.

  7. I also print on both sides.

  8. One thing I do to reduce paper is just print the screen shot after closing the case. It gives you the case number which is all you need. I was reducing the size to 80% but that gets time consuming when you are running 100s of cases in a day.

  9. 80% used to work, but now you have to print at 70%. If you leave that pop up window open after you print, you do not have to keep re-doing the setting.
