I9 Expiring Credentials (Alert)

We would like to receive an email with the I9 Expiring Credentials information 90, 60 or 30 days prior to the expiriration date. What are your thoughts?

Also, if the applicant has an email address on file (your government records), can they too get an alert reminder to renew their credentials?

  1. I don't need the extra email, but would be fab for the employee to get it!

  2. E-Verify only provides notification of the first expiration on the website. You may have to move to an electronic Form I-9 and E-Verify system from an employer agent to get the functionality you request.

  4. I believe the person notified by E-Verify is the individual registered as the primary contact in the E-Verify website. Also, there is a category on the main E-Verify page that lists those E-Verify cases with expiring documents. However, only the first document expiration is listed because E-Verify is not available for reverifications and therefore has no knowledge of an employee's new work expiration date. This is a feature that could be available with new E-Verify updates that may be made and is also listed as a feature request in E-Verify Listens.
