Global Entry and SENTRI cards are used as passport cards at ports of entry. Why are they not recognized by E-verify?
An employee's visa is not a valid form of work authorization per the Form I-9 Lists of Acceptable Documents, and overdocumentation is considered to be discriminatory. Therefore, why is visa number requested for E-Verify?
I think it would be great having a document search engin in E-Verify to enter the document that the employee provides in order to determine whether the document is acceptable, if it is list A,B or C, and who is the issuing authority.
To help employers and promote consistency in the completion of Form I-9, the USCIS lists of suggested/preferred document titles and issuing authorities should be listed on I-9 Central. This would be a big help suppliers of electronic systems and their customers as well as E-Verify M&C, ICE, and IER.
E-Verify should add a report that would show the percentage of cases per specific document presented by list. For example, the number of cases per each specific List A, List B (RIDE document by state), and List C.
Ensure there is a streamlined, integrated process for companies, individuals, and/or employment agencies PRIOR to the 'Real ID' 2020
