We have a number of employees that choose to Contest a TNC Notice but then quit a couple days later. We used to have the option to close the case and report that they are no longer employed. Now we have to wait until a Final Non-Confirmation is given, which we've been waiting for 3 weeks after the date they had to report to the SSA Field Office. When I use the fillable PDF version of the form, I often save the document on my computer and go back to it. Although I save the document with all of the information on the form, when I re-open it, the Driver's License information (specifically the first line where I select "driver's license from a state or territory" from the drop-down list) just disappears as if I never saved it! Expiring Documents- What happened to this report why im not able to sort by expiration date of documents any more???. Is there a way to bring it back? also im not able to print all the pages nor export them.
It appears that the identity verification service does not work correctly for some users for registering for myE-Verify. It provides a long list of possible reasons why it may not have worked, but does not tell you what to do to make it work, nor does it provide any alternate way to register. I had a keying error on a SSN. When I read the instructions, it stated that the individual could review the information and tell the Employer if there was data incorrect. Then, the instruction states for the employer to close the case and re-enter the information to verify the employee. I was asked to verify if I entered information correctly for the individual. It only asked name and DOB. Once I entered the next screen it was apparent I keyed the SSN incorrectly, a simple key stroke. I think that if I had the opportunity to review/validate all data that I entered, I would have caught it.
Instead of having to enter the date always as mm/dd/yyyy format manually, it would be helpful to have several options: drop-downs, an option to enter it in the numbers format, AND a little calendar where you can easily click on the date you want, while also being able to type in the date in m/d/yy or mm/d/yy or variations of that without putting 0s in front of everything and typing out the entire 4-digit year, and having ...more »
The dropdown at the end of the client enrollment process shows E-verify instead of E-Verify.
Would like an additional option for when their is a Data Entry Error in the Tentative Nonconfirmation Section:
A. If John chooses to take action to resolve this case.
B. If John chooses not to take action to resolve this case.
C. Data Entry Error - Would you like the option to fix the case or close the case?
Work Authorization Docs Expiring alerts are useful for us... we used and liked the previous version as it has all details at first glance, with expiry date and days left and lets you copy in a excel sheet to pass on ....which is much eaiser then the current version. It would be very helpful if there were an option to submit a new case immediately after closing a case. With the modernization you are required to go back to the home screen and back into verify employee - very inefficient.
