I would like the Right to Work Poster and the E-Verify Participation poster to be redesigned so that they do not incorporate a solid or colored background. It is such a waste of printer ink. Money is tight, and using printer ink for background fill is a waste of resources. Please allow us save our ink for words.
Enrollment and Getting Started
The number one complaint I hear from employers who attempt to enroll in E-Verify is how burdensome and time-consumiing the process is. The user manual is 85 plus pages, and takes some employers hours to get through. The manual should be edited and condensed. I've noted that there is an E-Verify users guide on-line, published by USCIS, that is 20 pages. I don't know if the guide contains all the info needed to understand ...more »
When a tutorial is going to be required by e-verify Corp Admin, Prog Administrators, or General Users a friendly notice in advance to Corp Administrators would be VERY helpful. Then we could notify those individuals who would have productivity slowed by having to take the tutorial before a case could be entered.
As part of the account set up process, e-verify should begin to have a process where they validate who the users are that are given access to the system. ie. is this the right NAICS code, is this the right POC information, is the company size being listed properly, is their company profile information standardized across the system etc.
Being in the retail field, our company structure is such that there are district and regional personnel that need to have access to multiple hiring locations. Currently this requires multiple Program Administrator accounts to be set up and tutorials waived. Not only is the process cumbersome, but it requires the personnel to keep track of user credentials for multiple accounts. There should be a level between "Corporate ...more »
As a Contractor to the Federal Government, we are requested to submit a Company Profile from E-Verify. It would be nice to have a one page Company Profile Certificate that we could print and submit with our proposal. Currently we are printing the MOU about 13 pages and is out dated. The information is reflective of when we joined E-Verify. We have since grown from 15 employees to over 70 employees. Please consider creating ...more »
I think the setup for multiple subsidiaries should be easier. In a small company, it's usually one person who maintains the account(s). A person should be able to hold both corporate and program administrator rights. As it is not, it seem inefficient and makes the setup more difficult.
Currently I need to fax or scan and upload my client's signed signature page. This is extremely burdensome to my company. E-Verify should make the client enrollment process fully electronic by using some sort of electronic or digital signature process for clients.
The MOU signature page available in E-Verify must be signed by all parties and a link to the MOU signed by the parties. In addition, provide language in E-Verify that the parties agree to all updates to the MOU after signature and provide a link to the current MOU.
I'm on a team implementing E-Verify for our retail stores all over the U.S. What other large retailers are out there and how did you go about implementing it? If you used a Third Party Agent, which ones would you suggest?
It would be helpful if E-Verify would allow a company to sign a new MOU if the orignial signatory left. While I know E-Verify doesn't require it, my company does.
The people working in L-visas are probably not assigned with an Alien number or A# but they must have SSN. How can they check on themselves since both SSN and A# are mandatory for initiating self check in the My-Everify website?
