SS Number box on I-9 has grids, but they restricts the font size if employee fills it out by hand. It's hard for the employer side to see. Please remove the grids! Thanks!

Remove Section 3 and require a new I-9 to be completed for all new hires, rehired, and reverifications. In addition, require an E-Verify case to be created for each I-9. This would standardize the process and improve compliance rates. However, it may require legislation to implement.

Identify in Section 1 that the employee's email and telephone number are optional, rather than making the employee read the instructions to find this out. Section 1 appears to be designed to trick the employee into entering these optional fields, which i think is wrong.

In Maryland, minors are required to have a work permit prior to their first day of work. Please consider using work permits as a form of identification (List B document) for minors.
minors should able to fill out their own employment verification eligibility form 1-9 once the form is signed by a perparer or a translor in certification block of the form 1-9
Presenting your ID to an employer as proof that you are permit to work in the united state is good it prove that DHS and USCIS agencies is working to make Immigration system better by letting the employer verify the status of the employee whit USCIS for social security and income tax payment from the employee pay
