Timeliness should be based on timezone of submission

My E-Verify was marked as late even though it was submitted within 3 days because the E-Verify System time is based on a different time zone then my location (and even the E-Verify clock on the website said 6/9 while the submission date indicated 6/10. The date for timelienss should be based on the timezone the E-Verify is submitted in.

Instead of having to enter the date always as mm/dd/yyyy format manually, it would be helpful to have several options: drop-downs, an option to enter it in the numbers format, AND a little calendar where you can easily click on the date you want, while also being able to type in the date in m/d/yy or mm/d/yy or variations of that without putting 0s in front of everything and typing out the entire 4-digit year, and having... more »

Add employer user to all case transactions

Add an identifier or name to identify the user (employer or agent) processing an E-Verify case. When using an agent who provides web service functionality (such as an electronic Form I-9 system) only the name of the employee registered as the agent contact is tracked with the case. This would provide much improved tracking and forensics for every case processed by web services.

Use E-Verify to back up no F-1 EAD use during SEVIS II

When SEVIS II rolls out, F-1 students can use their own individual student information screens to notify employers of OPT employment authorization after the electronic (ELIS) I-765 approval is sent electronically by USCIS to the SEVIS system. I STILL HAVE SEEN MAY CASES CLEAR E-VERIFY WHEN THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE. PROCESS NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED BY VERIFYING DRIVERS LICENSE/ID INFO WITH THE SOCIAL SECURITY ADMIN AND ALSO DRIVERS LICENSE PHOTO VERIFICATION ON ALL APPLICANTS SHOULD BE MANDATORY.

Entering employment start date >1 year in advance

It is my understanding that E-Verify is trying to reduce the window in which employers can run compliant E-Verify queries, so why is the option to enter (usually accidentally) employment start dates over a year(!) in advance of the actual start date? Final Nonconfirmation Status Change

When a employee contests a Final Nonconfirmation, E-Verify reviews the case and issues a Final Nonconfirmation Status Update via fax. E-Verify states that when a case receives a Final Nonconfirmation it is not possible to update the case status to reflect the new status. This policy causes concerns for many employers and should be changed to allow the status to be updated if the case has not been closed.
