After closing a case, the Case Details page that prints says "Page 1 of 1", but prints on 2 pages. Printing one extra page for each E-Verify case quickly increases printing costs. Please reorganize the Case Details page to print to a smaller area, or remove the blank information fields.
When a tutorial is required because of changes, it would be great if upon logging into E-Verify that it would tell us that the next time we log in we will need to take the tutorial before being able to use E-Verify. That way we know we have to allow time for that the next time.
This website should be linked to the home page of E-verify. i.e. while in e-verify and a user sees something they should be able to click a link to submit a new idea right there. They should also use the same user name a password to keep it easy to use.
E-verify needs to update their screens to better follow the new I-9 form. With the new form being on 2 pages, it is inconvenient to have to constantly flip from page one to page two, back and forth while completing the E-verify. Especially since we print the I-9s double-sided.
Would love to have where you just type in the numbers instead of using the drop down method. I find it easier & quicker to type in the number than use the drop down boxes.
I think you should have the ability to send e-mails directly through the E-verify system, instead of using our outside e-mail accounts. This will make it easier to contact CCO and get follow up correspondence when we are already working within the system. This could be a seperate tab just like the "open cases" tab, only it would be a "my messages" tab.
E-verify should develop a way to begin the I-9 process with E-verify instead of filling out an I-9. You could sit down with the employee and initiate the E-verify case and once you captured all of the information within the E-verify system you could then just print off the electronic copy of the I-9 for the employee to sign. this would make the process simpler for the employer and may help to reduce errors as the employee ...more »
The TNC letter and the Referral Letter both pre-populate the user's name and, on the Referral Letter, the user's phone number. As we are an Employer Agent who does not interact with the new hire re these letters, we must remove our user's info first before providing the letter to our client, the employer.
The requires valuable time and should be removed.
I think you should put the POC contacts on the same web page as all the other users. This will make it easier to keep track of everyone within a company's profile.
When entering a case in eVerify, sometimes "fat fingers" will cause a data entry error. In the case of document expiration dates, when that happens, you get kicked back and have to start completely over again, entering all the information AGAIN. July 1, 2014 the network was receiving outage and when you signed in the "Stop Sign" with a message appeared "unable to display". It was hard to determine if it was E-Verify outage or a problem with the internet / browser on our side. USCIS has said that over 1,500 new employers register for an E-Verify MOU every week. The Employer Search Tool has not been updated since Dec. 15, 2012 four months ago. This means that there are at least 24,000 employers that are not on the list. This information would be far more useful if it were updated monthly.
Also, it would be helpful if the NAICS Title were added to the list of employer information.
We've received a lot of DHS nonconfirmations lately mostly for our foreign national students. When they have called in to contest their case, invariable you have been requesting their SEVIS number. If this is what you are requesting, can a field be added to the screen where the SEVIS number can be entered? Maybe as an optional field. This would save us time in verifying the individuals eligibility to work.
