The present e-verification questionnaire pages work fine for me, but I would like to suggest some adjustments that would save keystrokes, tabbing and/or scrolling. To reduce fatigue, finger stress and reduce carpal tunnel like type symptoms. On the List B and List C page, since they normally default to Drivers License and Social Security card, if those are our intended choices, I would like to: 1. Just hit the ENTER ...more »
I like the fact that i can run a report for those processed. It would be helpful if the report included an expiration date on expiring EAD cards. The report pulls all employees, E-Verify should implement a way in which the employer can update E-verify when the employee has been termed. This way, the termed employees do not show up on the report.
In addition to the number format for the dates but also in the format that shows date, month, year since this follows most passport dates.
This idea had been post about a year ago, however I hadn't seen anything since, and I think it's a great idea! When I logged on to E-Verify today I had 3 alerts for cases that needed to be closed. It would be great if you could create email notifications to users if they have any alerts. This would help to keep everything cleaned up and current as well.
When eVerify was down due to government shut down, I was not emailed about this. As a Corporate Administrator, this information was vital to us so we could ensure this information was sent out to all Program Administrators
I disagree with the inability to perform cases in EVerify due to the government shutdown. While I understand that the cases could not be resolved if a TNC was received, this creates a backlog of all employees hired during that time period. I would like to be able to create cases during the shutdown. TNC could be put on pause for a resolution until after the shutdown. However, this would allow all employees who receive ...more »
I have noticed with the new change in E-Verify that I am no longer able to tab over to continue and hit enter for the next page. This has slowed the process for verifying hundreds of employees in a day. Only by a few seconds true but when you add that up it's enough to slow productivity. I would like E-verify to be completely keyboard friendly or have an option to be keyboard friendly for those of us who like efficiency ...more »
I use the number pad and tab key when entering, it would be so much easier and quicker to Type the numerical number for the month versus typing the letters, or using the scroll feature. So instead of having MAY, just type 05 and May would highlight
When in the "Enter Form I-9 Information" section of the E-Verify process, it would be SO HELPFUL if the Date of Birth, Document Expiration Date and the Hire Date were in mm/dd/yyyy format, as it is on the I9 form. It is easier than converting the numbers from the I9 for the month, to the actual word for that month. Seems simple, but it would be amazing if you could change that!
Would be helpful if your webpage showed the expire date for passcode somewhere on the that page when first signing on to the website.
Just in case the user forgot to write it down when updating their password. Instead of waiting to show it 5 days before it expires.
Currently, the last login date shown on the E-Verify website is the actually the user's current login. This doesn't make any sense because the user has no way of knowing when their more recent previous login was. Therefore, the user can't tell if their account has been compromised with someone else logging into the user's account. Since the user must login to see their last login date, the user can never determine if ...more »
I've noticed that the amount of time necessary for the E-Verify website to automatically log you out due to inactivity has decreased to 3 minutes. This is most unfortunate. I believe this change occurred within the past two months or so. I've received complaints from multiple General Users that this time out period is too short. Having to login every 3 minutes is incredibly cumbersome and decreases quality of work ...more »
We have stores in 3 states. When recently audited by the Dept of Immigration, they only needed an E-Verify Quick Audit Report for one state. If your reports would include the "Employer Case ID" it would be possible for employers to sort the data in Excel and provide info for single states. Would be very helpful during a state audit.
We are multi-site and our managers often move from one location to another. Our emails are associated with locations, not individual people. Therefore, when a manager with experience in eVERIFY transfers, the system sees them as a new user and requires the tutorial again (because their email address changed). There should be a way to transfer the USER ID to a different location without the need to call customer service, ...more »
E-Verify already makes you match photo ID for Permanent Resident Cards. I believe this feature should be used for all government issued photo ID (Identification cards and Driver's License). That way if the employee stole someone's identity but used their own picture, you would catch it when entering them in E-Verify.
