E-Verify is part of Discrimination Policy against Immigrants which strengthen employers to Exploitation. If it is honest the purpose of E-Verify should apply to every single employee by every employer. After all Corporations/employers Dictate Policies & Laws.
We have a heavy Somalian workforce and having a letter available in the native language would be really beneficial.
For mandatory tutorials for updates only, it would be useful to have a one-time skip option for users. I understand that USCIS/DHS need to roll out updates on weekends for time to test and verify that the update went through during low/slow volume periods. However, Monday is an almost universal start date for most new hires. Having to take the tutorial before you can move to processing is a burden to large employers ...more »
Put in the students like you would a regular person. Have a selection for submitting for SSN. Since the SSN is attached to E-Verify, once the student applies it should update the status to applied. Once the SSN is approved it should update the status to approved and then you are notified and you can finish doing your regular questions and print.
The resetting of the password at the Everify website is quite cumbersome. I would appreciate it if you would simplify the password rules as it can take 4-5 tries everytime the password is changed.
Too much info has to be provided for freelancers each time they accept new employment. Can there not be a way to be e-verified and receive a certificate or pin number so that the proliferation of personal info can stop?
Please deal with the moronic, script-kiddie password policy. Didn't we discover, years ago, that short passwords with goofy rules that have to be changed frequently reduces security? Hasn't there been enough research on that topic? For starters, for those of us who don't HAVE to use e-verify, the password policy is a frustrating, silly impediment to compliance. 14 characters is much too short, and your team ought ...more »
As a large employer with over 300 remote locations, it would be nice as the Corporate Program Administrator to have a working Dashboard of all cases (open, closed, TNCs, etc) so that I can work with locations to troubleshoot issues, monitor TNCs and get cases closed out quickly. It would also be nice to have a search feature that allows you to search by name, location or SSN
Why does the system not ask for the state that issed the identification card and the expiration date when you enter the information? Is E-VERIFY able to cross reference the state's database with out this inforamtion? Seems like anyone who wants a job in the USA just needs to acquire a state issued ID and a fake SSN card.
This question is misleading - If I am doing E-Verify prior to the start date, then no, the employee is NOT currently employed.
The E-Verify manuals do not consistently include section numbers for all topics in the Table of Contents. Issues like this erode the public trust. If E-Verify can't get the little things right then there are also errors in the E-Verify system.
Provide a report in E-Verify that lists all employees with a work authorization expiration date. The report should be available in time increments such as already expired, expires within the next 30/60/90/120/180/365 days, and employees with work authorization extended via TPS/DED. Employers can use the report to notify employees of the need to reverify work authorization.
If E-Verify insists on using multiple data entry pages to create a case, which doesn’t seem very efficient for the user, then the chevrons should be a menu of the pages allowing the user to jump to a specific page rather than having to backup by clicking multiple Back buttons slowing the process since it takes time to load each page. Also, since a case has not been created the Verification Results and Close Case chevrons ...more »
Ever since this new design came out E-verify has been crashing too frequently. We are falling behind to the point we are unsure whether we will be able to catch up because of it. Also, why is it necessary to have so many continue buttons? It was better on one page, and was way more efficient to use like that. Please go back.
In some cases when we are dealing with bulk hiring. There should be an option in E-Verify to upload file with all of the particulars that we put in I9 documents. So that system automatically upload the information. If something came up like TNC or anything then we have notification for that particular case and we can handle easily.
