My E-Verify was marked as late even though it was submitted within 3 days because the E-Verify System time is based on a different time zone then my location (and even the E-Verify clock on the website said 6/9 while the submission date indicated 6/10. The date for timelienss should be based on the timezone the E-Verify is submitted in.
Maybe have a webinar about the electronic I-9s and what companies the USCIS approves?
Sometimes it is difficult to know if there are different guidelines and also if the electronic I-9s that are being used are compliant.
As a large employer with over 300 remote locations, it would be nice as the Corporate Program Administrator to have a working Dashboard of all cases (open, closed, TNCs, etc) so that I can work with locations to troubleshoot issues, monitor TNCs and get cases closed out quickly. It would also be nice to have a search feature that allows you to search by name, location or SSN
Would like an additional option for when their is a Data Entry Error in the Tentative Nonconfirmation Section:
A. If John chooses to take action to resolve this case.
B. If John chooses not to take action to resolve this case.
C. Data Entry Error - Would you like the option to fix the case or close the case?
I am just accepting a new job, but the I-9 website is impossible to do this online, or at least find where you do it? Ive done this before with prior positions and it was easy!
Why does the system not ask for the state that issed the identification card and the expiration date when you enter the information? Is E-VERIFY able to cross reference the state's database with out this inforamtion? Seems like anyone who wants a job in the USA just needs to acquire a state issued ID and a fake SSN card.
This question is misleading - If I am doing E-Verify prior to the start date, then no, the employee is NOT currently employed.
The E-Verify manuals do not consistently include section numbers for all topics in the Table of Contents. Issues like this erode the public trust. If E-Verify can't get the little things right then there are also errors in the E-Verify system.
Provide a report in E-Verify that lists all employees with a work authorization expiration date. The report should be available in time increments such as already expired, expires within the next 30/60/90/120/180/365 days, and employees with work authorization extended via TPS/DED. Employers can use the report to notify employees of the need to reverify work authorization.
By default the focus should be on the Active tab when accessing E-Verify Listens rather than the Review tab.
For an Employer to be able to track Veterans who are onboarding, the I-9 form should have a place to acknowledge if a new hire is a veteran and be able to enter this information in E-verify system.
